The Lord loves us so much and He is pleased when we come and visit Him. He always has time for us. He is faithful to answer our questions and He likes to show us things. Heaven is exciting and so full of love.

how it all started

When I was nine I heard God calling me, “Carol, Carol.” I asked my brother if it was him who was calling me. He said no. After few days I heard a big voice calling again, “Carol, Carol”.

It was years before I heard Him again. God was calling me, but it took me years before it finally dawned on me.

When I was 30 years old I found out about Jesus and accepted Him into my heart. I became a child of the living God. This gave me the privilege of coming boldly into the throne room because of the cleansing blood of Jesus Christ.

For years, I would see things, but I just thought they were visions. It's only been about the last year I finally realized that God was actually taking me to heaven spiritually. Now after many years of walking with the Lord, He calls me to heaven very often.

Almost always, I see myself as a child. When the Lord told me to write and do paintings about visiting heaven, it precipitated the idea of doing this Christian book series for kids.

Visiting heaven is such a privilege, but it's not just for me. The scripture tell us about heaven.

who can visit heaven?

The Lord loves us all! He wants everyone to come and visit heaven.

He always has time for us. We can ask him questions, too. No question is too big or too small for God. He is always faithful to answer. All Christians can visit heaven.

Visiting heaven is exciting!

He walks with me, talks with me and teaches me things. There are things to see, things to do and many experiences in the wonders of heaven. When I first started going to heaven, I would reach up toward heaven. When I saw the Lord's strong right hand reaching down, I would grab it and He would pull me up.

One day during a quiet time with my focus on the Lord, all of the sudden I saw myself stepping up out of a hole on top of the clouds. There was the top of a ladder sticking up out of the hole in the clouds. Thinking of Jacob's ladder it mystified me, I thought what is this?

When I was sharing with some friends, one of them said you are taking yourself up now instead of the Lord pulling you up. It clicked, she was right.

Nowadays, the Lord doesn't pull me up and there is no need for a ladder. I just step over into the realm of heaven. How wondrous is God?

Sometimes when I go to heaven, the Lord asks me what I want to see. Other times he just says, let me take you somewhere or I want to show you something.

Often we go walking hand in hand. Sometimes, He may put me up on His shoulders. Sometimes we go on his beautiful white horse.

His horse runs so fast! It knows how to fly above the clouds and swim underwater. Heaven is absolutely awesome!
